Our Journey

“I dreamed of harnessing creative talent in Australia to produce a range of fabrics that would have unique Australian character.” - Claudio Alcorso, Founder

Sheridan has been bringing Beautiful Australian Living to the world since 1967. Our founder, Italian entrepreneur and textile aficionado Claudio Alcorso, had a vision to “introduce creative thought and beauty into the everyday things of life,” a prospect he delivered by launching a revolutionary, design-led textile printing business in Australia. Claudio believed in the importance of quality and craftsmanship and insisted on producing textiles using the finest materials, combined with the highest testing standards.
