Care instructions vary based on the constructions of each fabric and product so we have compiled some basic guidelines when it comes to caring for your Sheridan purchase.
How do I take care of my wool rug?
Wool is a protein-based fiber containing natural lanolin oil. Lanolin in combination with the natural construction of wool, make it very resilient to stains and easier to stay clean than most synthetic fibers. A breathable nonslip mesh underpad is recommended when laying your rug on a hardwood or tile floor. To ensure even wear, be sure to rotate your rug once a year. When placing your furniture, lightly set it down and then move it slightly in the direction of the pile at least once a week. Vacuum your rug using a low powered vacuum cleaner. Should long ends of yarns appear on surface do not pull. Use scissors to trim yarn evenly with the rug surface. When storing your rug do not fold or put in airtight plastic bag. It is advisable to roll with the rug backing showing and wrap it with cloth for protection. For surface cleaning: Using a sponge, wipe a mixture of a mild dish soap and water lightly over the entire surface of the rug. Remove by wiping again using a clean cloth and water. For deep cleaning: Your rug should be professionally cleaned every 3-5 years or when you notice the colours to be less vibrant. Rugs in extremely high traffic areas may require more frequent cleaning. The best way to remove any stain is to treat it IMMEDIATELY. Dilute the area with soda water or water and salt and let absorb. Using a clean white cloth or paper towel, cover the area and press down several times with your hand or foot. Continue to blot the area until the stain is removed. DO NOT RUB

30 DAY RETURNS
Most stocked items (excluding rugs, stocked furniture, hygiene sensitive items) can be returned or exchanged within 30 days from the date of purchase using our prepaid returns label.
Return shipping is FREE of charge for members or $9.95 for all other customers, deducted from the final refunded price.
Candles, aroma reeds and fragrance can only be returned to a Sheridan boutique store (not to online) and must be returned sealed in original packaging. Please get in touch with our Customer Service Team if you wish to return one of these items.
Note: For health and hygiene reasons, Bed Toppers, Quilts, Pillows, Pillow Protectors and Mattress Protectors are non-refundable unless faulty.
We will accept returns for all faulty goods. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
