Quilt covers are one of the simplest ways to give your bedroom a quick refresh while adding extra comfort. As the main focal point of your bed, the right quilt cover can change the mood of the room and make your space feel more inviting. At Sheridan, we believe that your bed should be a testament to both premium comfort and beautiful design. From laidback linen and crisp cotton to silky sateen and textured weaves, there’s something to suit every home and personal style.
Creating your ideal sleep environment begins with selecting a texture that complements your sleep style. Our quilt and doona covers are crafted in a wide variety of fabrics:
1000 and 1200 Thread Count Sateen: For those who want the ultimate five-star hotel feeling, our iconic 1000 TC and 1200TC cotton sateen collections offer a lustrous finish and comforting, weighted feel.
Crisp Cotton Percale: A classic for a reason, our percale quilt covers offer a matte, lightweight finish that feels wonderfully cool, crisp, and fresh against the skin.
European Flax Linen: Bring a relaxed, contemporary style to your space with our Abbotson Linen collection. This fibre is naturally temperature-regulating and offers a breathable feel that continues to soften with each wash.
Tactile Jacquards & Textures: Add sensory depth to your bedroom with our textured weaves, jacquards, and timeless seersucker patterns that effortlessly elevate your interior styling.
Elevate your bedroom interior with our collection of quilt covers.
Size up for the drape: Sizing up your quilt, for example pairing a Super King cover with a King bed, allows your quilt cover to drape beautifully over each side of the bed, for that straight out of a magazine look.
Embrace the fold-down: Pull your quilt up to the top, then fold the top third back on itself. This breaks up the space, shows off your sheets, and instantly makes the bed look more inviting.
Double up the inserts: To get that cloud-like, fluffy showroom look, layer two quilts inside your quilt cover (our clippable quilts are perfect for this).
Mix your textures: If your quilt cover is smooth cotton or sateen, pair it with a chunky knit or linen throw. Combining different textures is the easiest way to make your bed look professionally styled.
Achieving a beautiful drape and a tailored look requires choosing the correct size for your bedroom. We offer a variety of sizes across our quilt cover collections:
Single Quilt Covers (140 cm x 210 cm): Ideal for children's bedrooms.
King Single Quilt Covers (160cm x 210cm): Designed to provide standard length with extra width for growing teenagers or cosy guest rooms.
Double Quilt Covers (180cm x 210cm): A versatile fit for smaller bedrooms.
Queen Quilt Covers (210cm x 210cm): The most popular everyday choice.
King Quilt Covers (245cm x 210cm): Offering extra coverage and comfort.
Super King Quilt Covers (270cm x 240cm): The ultimate upgrade.
A: Yes, our duvet covers are designed to keep you comfortable all year round. For the hot summer months, our lightweight linens and crisp cottons offer breezy breathability, while our heavier sateens and flannelettes keep you cosy all winter long.
A: To choose the right quilt cover, simply match it to the size of your current doona insert to prevent any annoying bunching or shifting inside. However, if you want that plush, hotel-style look, the ultimate designer trick is to buy a cover and insert that are one size larger than your mattress. This gives you a gorgeous= drape down the sides of the bed and guarantees no one is fighting over the blankets at night.
A: Yes, all of our duvet covers are machine washable and easy to care for. For the best results, always follow the care instructions on the tag.
