Our wax is 80% soy, blended with 15% paraffin and 5% soft wax to ensure a great fragrance throw and burn every time.

Our 280g candles have a burn time of approximately 50 hours, and our 85g votive candles are approximately 15 hours.

The first time you burn your candle, allow the wax pool to melt all the way to the edges. This will help encourage even burning and prevent tunnelling (2-3 hours).

Before each burn, trim the wick to 7mm and make sure to keep the wax pool clear of matches and other debris — this will help prevent mushrooming wicks, flaring and excess smoke (sooting).

We like to think of our candles as music — depending on the occasion, they can be quiet and ambient or full-volume. If you prefer a gentle scent, try starting out with a votive candle. If you’re after a more enveloping experience, we recommend our full-size candles (or even burning two in the same room, for maximum immersion). Scent is personal, so we’ve designed our candles to layer and adapt to your preference.

This is  wax “pull away” it is caused by natural contraction of wax and is usually less than a mm between the wax and glass. It is very natural and common and will change as you use your candle. Nothing to worry about!
Pullaway is caused when the candle wax and glass vessel expand and contract at different rates, causing the wax to pull away very slightly from the sides of the vessel letting in a tiny amount of air.

If you see these air pockets on the sides of your candle, rest assured that it won’t impact the candle or burn time in any way. Once the wax melts during use, these air pockets will adjust and even dissipate on their own.
