The Fabric
TENCEL™ Lyocell is an innovative cellulosic fibre; its raw material derives from wood pulp, sourced from sustainably managed forests. It’s known for its versatility and combines well with other fabrics.
The Process
1. Forest: Trees from certified sustainable forestry and plantations are grown
2. Wood: Logs are debarked, chipped and treated, extracting cellulose pulp
3. Pulp: Pulp is dissolved and converted
4. Fibre: Closed-loop solvent spinning process results in cellulosic fibres

- Process recycles process water, reuses solvent at recovery rate of >99%
5. Yarn: Lengths of the extra-fine, light fibre are spun into yarn
6. Fabric: It is knitted or woven into fabric, and can be combined with other fibres
